Creamy Fuzzy
He's a brave pig, though. In order to properly incise and clean his cyst, the vet had to shave a little square of fur off his rear. Then she cut it open and cleaned it out. And used honey, of all things, to sterilize the wound. It's because it's sterile and also safe if he gets some in his mouth. Then she gave us a special antibiotic cream to spread on the area twice a day to keep if from getting infected. So he'd be running around the cage with a big smear of cream on his rear.
After we were finally done with the eye drops I decided to practice putting the cream on him without picking him up, so we could save that for snuggles and other treatments. It's not as unpleasant as it sounds to cream him, I'd just get a really big glob and try to poke him somewhere in the ballpark and it usually worked out.
