Fuzzy Bump
Poor Fuzzy developed a pretty big sebaceous cyst on his rear end. It's basically a really huge pimple that has trouble healing on its own. So in order to help it heal, the doctor has to nick it open and drain it of the stuff that's filling it, which in guinea pigs tends to be a lot pastier than it is in humans. It's just a mash up of skin particles and fluid. The crazy thing is that we didn't notice this on Fuzzy even though we'd been holding him twice a day for the eye drops. It was just hidden beneath his fur.
The other crazy thing is what that pasty stuff looked like. It was light gray and pretty thick. And the vet kept squishing it around like silly putty.
