	Tuesday, December 6, 2022 Preferred Pellets Not to name names, but there's a certain pellet brand named after a cataclysmic solar even that includes a ton of treats and snacks. Pea flakes, dried carrots, corn, bananas, papaya, pineapple, etc. Yes, I know they're not supposed to eat corn, they kind of just snuck that in there. The pigs really love all those treats, especially the pea flakes. But the pellets themselves are made from alfalfa hay instead of timothy hay. They hate that stuff. When it was the only choice, they would eat a little. But as soon as we could replace it with the plain, regular timothy hay pellets, they wouldn't touch the other stuff. It got so bad, not only would they not eat those pellets, but when I tried to mix in the timothy pellets, they didn't even want to pick them out, and ignored the whole bowl!
