Pet Convention
The constant tendency to use the word "pet" as a synonym of "dog" can be very frustrating. I was looking for something to do on a weekend and I ran across this pet convention. I was briefly excited until I started looking at all of the photos on the website were of dogs. The "celebrity guests" had names that sounded like they might be other animals, but when I googled them I found out they were "dog influencers" just named after other animals. The whole website didn't ever make any admission that they were dog-only, but it's clearly because they forgot other pets actually exist. I looked around the country for other pet events, and I found a few that included cats, lizards, and birds. But nothing for guinea pigs. Pretty dissappointing.
Real-life Bean status is still pending. He's healthy and we might have a plan, but I won't spill the beans (no pun intended) until we're sure. In the meantime, hopefully this new storyline will entertain.
