	Friday, August 25, 2023 One of These Things... When we drop off the pigs at the hotel, they always have the room partially set up for us, with some kind of ground cover and maybe a pigloo. But we bring our own supplies to make them feel more comfortable while we're gone. They get their own blanket, at least one pigloo from home, their water bottle, and of course plenty of food to eat while they settle in. So it takes a while to set all that up when they first arrive. Last time they were staying, there was a cat getting floor time on the opposite end of the room. He managed to slip away and actually jump into the cage with the guinea pigs! Luckily the pigs were already in pigloos and were too confused to be too scared. Though they did hide a bit deeper. The cat didn't go for the pigs either, he was just checking the place out. But the hotel staff really dove at the cat!
