Bedding Mask
The pigs don't always sleep in their pigloos. When they're feeling particularly secure, sometimes they find a nice corner, in or out of the sun, as the case may be. But when they do, they just rest their chins on their paws and sleep. The one time we saw Fuzzy cover his face with bedding was quite a surprise.
Maybe it was some kind of attempt at "burrowing." The burrowing instinct isn't as strong in guinea pigs as in most rodents. I think because they tend to live in natural caves and crevices in the wild. And it's even weaker in our pigs. They don't even like to nose their way under their blanket!
