	Thursday, March 17, 2022 For The Birds I'd actually like to try adopting a bird. A pet bird, of course, like a parrot. They're cute and smart and seem like they would have interesting personalities and be fun to play with. The problem is the time and effort commitment to bring a third classification of animal into the home (in addition to mammal and fish). There's the cage, the food, the supplies. And cleaning and feeding time. And of course whatever the bird equivalent of lap time is. If they could live in the same cage and eat the same food as guinea pigs, though, that would help.
