	Monday, February 28, 2022 Dog Pig Most people get guinea pigs confused with hamsters, but I think that's based on the name. I don't know what people would guess they are if they just see them in the store. Prairie dogs? Hopefully more than half of people at least know what a guinea pig looks like, but I'm not so sure. I don't think too many people would be comforted by an uncanny-valley pig-dog anyway. But a cute, furry guinea pig is comforting to everyone, whether they know what it is or not.
