Switching Sides
Usually the pigs take their stations when they suspect it's about feeding time. They each pick a side and fix us with a stare out of the front of the cage while the food is prepared. We usually hand one bite to each pig, and split the rest between two food bowls. Once we drop the food in, they have their routes planned out, Guinea running to the nearest hidey to munch what he has, and Fuzzy to the nearest bowl to get a bigger share.
One night, however, they somehow got their signals crossed. They were each standing on opposite sides of the cage divider and immediately tried to switch sides when they got their food. It was a regular Three Stooges collision in the doorway before right-of-way was decided!
