Filter Ride
The danios love to play with each other. They hang out at the top of the water chasing each other and occasionally come down and swoop through the school of tetras, just to watch them scatter. But their favorite is playing in the current from the filter. We have an extra-large filter for the tank, which creates a pretty strong current. All of our fish are river fish and they like a current. And the danios especially enjoy being pushed down by it.
The tetras tend to stay away from it. They like current, but the filter can really send them tumbling. Except when it's feeding time, then it's like they don't even notice it.
