Sus Possum
We've seen this guy in our back yard a couple of times. I don't know what happened, but he really has no eyes, which is pretty creepy, but at least it doesn't look gruesome. But since he can't see, he doesn't realize he's walking around at daytime in full view of everybody, which opossums usually don't do. It also means he doesn't run away when you get close unless you're loud enough he can tell where you're coming from.
Of course, I don't know how a blind opossum could be involved with a cats disappearance. He also doesn't seem like he could be a potential witness.
One more shot of the new book, this time the interior. When I bought the last book, I noticed there was a little more bleeding through the pages than the first two books. So for Book 4 I chose a higher quality paper, for only a dollar more production cost. The difference was huge! The colors are crisp and the print is clean. So I even went back and updated Book 3 to use the same high quality paper. Both are available on the bookstore.
