	Wednesday, December 10, 2025 Flying Fish The mollies regularly do this thing, where they get to the surface of the water and thrash. We hear a loud splashing sound. I think they're just playing. That's ok, the scarier one is when they jump out of the water. That's why we need a lid on the tank. If I ever forget to close the lid for a bit, I always check the ground around the tank to make sure no one got too excited while they were playing.
